WHY RESPONSIBLE & SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION OF FOOD PRODUCTS?
Before the Corona-crisis the production and consumption of food products was a substantial part of the Worlds climate- and environmental challenges. Studies show that the production and consumption of food products is responsible for about 25% of the total climate impact per person in the western countries.
The studies also show that the total climate impact from all spending per person should be reduced to a level, which is below the level that is today coming from food production and consumption alone.
When looking at the food production and -consumption there are many areas, where we can work to make a more responsible and sustainable future.
RESUS FOOD wish to work with products and suppliers, that within their category are more responsible and sustainable than the average alternative on the market … this is the only way we can achieve our mission.
